CityLink Tulla Widening
Since February 2017 RoadMaster have been a part of the CityLink Tulla Widening Freeway Project which started in October 2015. It extends from Melbourne Airport on the Tullamarine Freeway to the Bolte Bridge. This project has emphasized the importance of traffic management and control services which are currently implemented in this development by RoadMaster. A Freeway Management System on the CityLink and the Calder and Tullamarine Freeways will help manage the flow of traffic with all the new lanes and interchanges once completed.
Monash Freeway Upgrade
Stage 1 of the Monash Freeway Upgrade started in September 2016 and was
completed in June 2018. RoadMaster participated with traffic management and
control services to this project. Thirty kilometres of extra traffic lanes were added to
the Monash Freeway as part of Stage 1.
The freeway was widened:
- from 4 to 5 lanes in each direction, between EastLink interchange and South Gippsland Freeway
- from 2 to 3 lanes in each direction, between South Gippsland Freeway and Clyde Road in Berwick.
